COCONUT Open Class Batch 10 - Building Modern Data Flow with TanStack Query v5

COCONUT Open Class Batch 10, an open learning space for students to dive into modern data management technology. Themed "Building Modern Data Flow with TanStack Query v5", the session covered efficient server-state management, caching techniques, and professional-grade data fetching using the latest TanStack Query. The class was presented by frontend developers Saudah AI and Naufal Asila, with Muh. Tazkiyah as moderator.

YOLO vs DETR: Who Leads the Next Generation of System Detection?

An intensive three-day computer vision bootcamp exploring the two pillars of modern object detection, as Transformer-based models challenge the long-standing dominance of CNNs. Day 1 covered algorithm architecture foundations and structured dataset management; Day 2 compared the computational efficiency and practical implementation of YOLO against DETR; and Day 3 was dedicated to building an independent final project. The bootcamp was presented by Resky Agus (AI enthusiast / R&D, PT Maxplus Anugrah Indonesia) and moderated by Muhammad Shadiq Yusuf (COCONUT Bandung Chapter, Telkom University).

INESA 2026 - Smart Farming with AgroAdvisor for Desa Rajang

COCONUT took part in INESA 2026 (Inovasi dan Edukasi Desa) in Desa Rajang, Pinrang Regency, implementing AgroAdvisor, a smart farming platform powered by IoT and AI. The system provides real-time monitoring of soil conditions (pH, NPK, temperature, humidity), AI-based fertilizer and pesticide recommendations, automatic irrigation pump control, and a digital dashboard, helping local farmers transition from conventional to data-driven agriculture.

Bootcamp Offensive Security - Man Behind The Hat, Mastering Offensive OPSEC

An intensive cybersecurity bootcamp taking participants from the basics toward professional practice, structured around Offensive OPSEC techniques. Day 1 covered the Art of Reconnaissance (passive & active gathering), Day 2 explored Web Invasion (exploiting the web layer), and Day 3 focused on Post-Exploitation (privilege escalation & persistence). The bootcamp was led by Abd Rahman Wahid, Cybersecurity & AI Enthusiast, running from 13.00 to 17.00 WITA.

IDSECCONF 2025 - Indonesia IT Security Conference

COCONUT hosted IDSECCONF 2025, the annual Indonesia IT Security Conference, held in Makassar under the theme "Cybersecurity for the Next Evolution: Society 6.0". The event featured two days of seminars, panel discussions, pre-conference workshops (November 6-7) and a Capture The Flag (CTF) competition, opened with a keynote by Ir. Budi Rahardjo, M.Sc., Ph.D. The panel discussion "Ransomware as a Service: Watch Out!" was moderated by Nurkholish Halim, S.SI, M.A, CEH, CHFI, CISA (IDSECCONF Committee), with panelists Atik Pilihanto, S.T, GPEN, GCIH, GCIA (Security Director ITSEC Asia); Dr. Eng. Ir. Abdul Wahid, M.Kom, IPM. CSCU, CHFI (Peneliti Keamanan IT & Kriptografi UNM); David Christian (OSINT Researcher, GreyInt); and Muhammad Resha (Komunitas Android Makassar).

COCONUT Open Class Batch 8 - Go REST, Go Fast: Membangun REST API dengan Golang

In collaboration with Indigo Telkom Indonesia, COCONUT Computer Club held Open Class Batch 8, a hands-on backend REST API training using the Go programming language that also introduced Apilogy, Telkom Indonesia's API marketplace. The class was led by Musdalipa and Syahrul Ramadhan with Ahmad Fajrul as moderator, and attended by more than 20 students and young developers from Makassar.

COCONUT Open Membership - Bandung Chapter

October 18-19, 2025 · Villa Merah Sukawana, Bandung Barat, Indonesia

The first COCONUT Open Membership held outside Makassar, marking the club's first expansion beyond its home city. Over a weekend retreat at Villa Merah Sukawana in West Bandung, COCONUT welcomed new members from Bandung universities, including Telkom University, UNIKOM Bandung, and Politeknik Negeri Bandung.

COCONUT Open Class - Belajar Dasar Website dengan SvelteKit

A COCONUT Open Class (COC) session on the basics of website development using SvelteKit, a modern MIT-licensed framework for faster and lighter web development, presented by Awaluddin. Part of COCONUT's regular open class series focused on building IT skills, the session targeted IT students as well as high school (SMA/SMK) students and was open to the general public.

Blockchain Demystified - The Technology Behind the Digital Revolution

IDSECCONF 2012 - Konferensi Keamanan Komputer Nasional V

IDSECCONF came to Makassar for the first time with the theme "Teknik Keamanan dan Penerapannya pada Teknologi Mobile", where COCONUT Computer Club members took part in organizing the event together with the local Makassar hacker community. The conference was attended by more than 400 participants and featured talks by Onno W. Purbo and a Capture The Flag (CTF) competition.

Workshop Raspberry Pi - It's Raspberry Not Blackberry..!!

Seminar & Workshop - Building Websites Easily Using Various CMS

A seminar and workshop on building websites easily using various CMS such as Joomla, Drupal, vBulletin, and phpBB, presented by Nurkholish Halim and Yusuf Yacob Onaola. Topics covered web design basics (HTML), CMS installation, building websites and community forums, installing templates, modules, components, and plugins, plus an introduction to web security. Participants received a certificate, a CD containing CMS packages and templates, snacks, and workshop modules.
